Surrounded by 26 acres of lush, beautifully landscaped gardens, Monmouth Historic Inn & Gardens provides a setting like no other.
Built in 1818, owned by Mexican-American War Hero, John Quitman, the Main House has been the location of grand parties and events for nearly two centuries. For a more formal wedding and reception - the Main House is the perfect setting.
The Garden Room, with outside covered patio, is the ideal setting for receptions of 150 or less.
These rooms, located in the wing of the Main House, was built in the early 1850s. These two rooms (originally the General and Eliza's quarters) were adapted for our hotel use. This exclusive smaller intimate area is great for small board meetings, teas and luncheons.
Our gardens simply cannot be topped as THE venue for wedding ceremonies, receptions, etc. The following locations are located in our 26 acres of manicured gardens. Seasonal plantings ensure beautiful blooms year round.
