Monmouth Historic Inn

This lovely single-story cottage was constructed from 1993-1994. There is a porch across the back with rocking chairs, where one can spend time relaxing while looking out over the pond, where the Monmouth ducks waddle and paddle; the romantic bridge, where couple after couple has become engaged; and our majestic sanctuary, styled as a Greco-Roman Palladian Temple.  For more photos of this lovely building and others, click here:  Cottages & Buildings Gallery

After her parents’ death, Rosalie remained at Monmouth with her sisters, Antonia and Louisa, until 1914.
