Tours, Attractions, and Discounts in Natchez

We are having an early Spring here in Natchez! While the rest of the country is experiencing record-setting temperatures below freezing, snow blizzards, ice, and lots of time indoors we are talking about the scarcity of short-sleeved shirts at our local stores, the best places to take a date on a Sunday picnic, and canoeing on the Mississippi River. The weather is warm, the sun is coming out every afternoon, and you might just be missing a secret Spring season with us this January. It's a great time to take a walk on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway or try your hand at birding.

Aside from this unusually delightful Winter weather, here are a few things you need to know about:

Monmouth is offering a Winter Special  - For stays now through the end of February, we are offering 15% off on all rooms and suites on Weekends (Thursday through Saturday) and 25% off on all rooms and suites on Weekdays (Sunday through Wednesday). Call 601-442-5852 or 800-828-4531 or enter your dates above and click "Book Now".

The Quitman Lounge at Monmouth Historic Inn is serving the best fried chicken in town, with a side of french fries for only $12. Roosevelt is serving cocktails that are a local hidden legend. Ask for a mint julep and he'll disappear for half a minute and pick fresh mint for you. He's also one of the funniest people you will talk to in Natchez. He has a wealth of stories to tell. Monmouth is one of the most beautiful antebellum homes in Natchez, and offers daily tours that are not to be missed.

The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour Buses are here and will start running tours very soon. This will be such an exciting way to see the many sites in Natchez; the ride includes a guided tour of the mansions, shops, restaurants and numerous historic areas. "Hop off" at the stop of your choice to explore at your leisure. A bus will be by every 30 minutes so you can "hop on!" Stay tuned for updates about this exciting new venture in Natchez.

As always, the Monmouth Historic Inn and Gardens family wishes you all our very best. We hope to see you soon!
